I have been involved with music my entire life.
Since that time so long ago – 1983 – I have performed as a soloist in many different venues – churches, concerts, musicals, and operas. I have been the director of music in different churches. I have developed music curriculum and taught in elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as in colleges. I have sung in large choirs and small ensembles and have directed the same. I have directed handbell choirs. I have given workshops and been involved in trainings of various descriptions. I have composed original music, and arranged music to suit the occasion. All of this I have done, and will continue to do, in loving service to Music.
In addition to my Bachelor of Arts and my Bachelor of Music, I am certified at the Advanced level as a TaKeTiNa Rhythm instructor. I play a variety of secondary instruments – recorder, C-flute, lyre, surdo, channgo, and still, on occasion, my beloved guitar.
